Béla Kovács Award for Young Soloists:

In memory of the Hungarian pedagogue, clarinetist, and composer, Clarimondo 2026 is awarding the "Béla Kovács" Prize. Are you a participant in the Clarimondo Festival and no older than 22? Then you can apply for this prize by April 10, 2026, with a video recording of one of Béla Kovács' famous "Hommages" for solo clarinet. The prize includes cash and a performance at Clarimondo's opening concert on April 30, 2026.

Eligibility requirement: You must be no older than 22 at the time of Clarimondo.

Repertoire: one of the "Hommages" for solo clarinet by Bela Kovacs (free choice).

Video: After successful registration for the Clarimondo Festival, please send an email to clarimondo@bdb-online.de with the YouTube link of the uploaded video (please do not send any files).

Jury: Instructors of the masterclass.

Prizes: Prize money and a performance in the Clarimondo opening concert.
