| singing | Katrin Enkemeier - Voice. Your body is your instrument. Sing healthily and flexibly through holistic body awareness and free breathing. A tight throat, shortness of breath, a weak voice – too many people know this feeling. Especially in choir rehearsals or concerts, this leads to helplessness and dissatisfaction with oneself and one's own body. How wonderful would it be to sing with ease, free from all these worries? And to find and develop your own unique sound? Over the years, I've gathered some wonderful strategies to help you bring more ease to singing, allowing you to discover your own voice in a healthy way and proactively prevent tension and tightness. Holistic body awareness is central to this, because: your body is your instrument. The better you know it, the better you master the techniques that help you breathe freely, stand grounded, and sing with openness, the closer you come to the lightness and confidence you long for. It's an exciting journey, and I'd love to accompany you on it. Alongside my music education studies in Leipzig, I completed two training programs on the topic of body and voice, which enriched me immensely: Alexander Technique, structural bodywork and breath training for liberating the vocal system, and body coaching with Alexander Technique. I now teach pop/jazz vocals in Hanover, provide vocal training for choirs, and have been performing throughout Germany since 2017 with my award-winning vocal group Quintense. No matter what topics interest you or in which areas you wish to grow – I'm eager to learn and look forward to meeting you! Your body is your instrument. Sing healthy and flexible through holistic body awareness and free breathing. The throat feels tight, breathing is short, the sound of the voice is weak – too many people know this feeling. Especially in choir rehearsals or at concerts, it leads to helplessness and dissatisfaction with oneself and one's own body. How wonderful would it be to be able to sing with ease without all these worries? And to find and develop one's own individual sound in the process? Over the years I have collected some wonderful strategies that help you to bring more ease into singing, with which you can discover your own voice in a healthy way and independently prevent tension and tightness. The focus is on holistic body awareness, because: Your body is your instrument. The better you know it, the better you master the tricks that help you to breathe, stand grounded and sing openly, the closer you come to your longed-for ease and sovereignty. It is an exciting journey on which I am happy to accompany you. In addition to my music education studies in Leipzig, I have completed two training units on the subject of body and voice, which have enriched me greatly: Alexander Technique, structural body work and breath training to free the vocal system and body coaching with Alexander Technique. I now teach pop/jazz singing in Hanover, give voice training to choirs and have been performing throughout Germany with my multi-award-winning vocal group Quintense since 2017. No matter what topics you are interested in or in which areas you would like to grow – I am curious and look forward to getting to know you! | |
