Remarks: Marko Milenkovic has been principal violist with the WDR Symphony Orchestra since 2024 and will take up a professorship for viola at the Cologne University of Music and Dance in the winter semester of 2025. Prior to this, he became principal violist with the Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra at the age of 22. As a guest principal violist, he has worked with the Camerata Bern, the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Munich Chamber Orchestra, and other European ensembles. Festival appearances have taken him to the Salzburg Festival, the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania Festival, and the Rheingau Music Festival, where he has performed with musicians such as Patricia Kopatchinskaja, Valentin Erben, and Ilya Gringolts. With the Adelphi Quartet, he has won international prizes, including first prize at the Irene Steels-Wilsing Foundation Competition and second prize at the Wigmore Hall Competition. Born in Ćuprija (Serbia), he studied with Tomislav Milošević and Thomas Riebl. He plays a viola by Hiroshi Iizuka. Please use our website for the registration form.
