Remarks: It is the 25th time University of Debrecen Faculty of Music has organized the Young Musicians' Summer Academy for high school students, university students and young music teachers. Thousands of young musicians came to Debrecen from all over the world, representing more than 50 nations in the past.
Besides individual master courses, orchestral and chamber music workshops, further additional courses contribute to the participants' artistic development. The location of the event is the campus of Debrecen University, which is situated in Nagyerdő (Great Forest), a tourist sight of Debrecen. At the end of the Academy we provide certificates of the courses completed and credits obtained.
Besides a number of individual masterclasses the talented young musicians take part in an orchestral masterclass. The Kodály Zoltán World Youth Orchestra has performed in Austria, the Czech Republic, France, Italy, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia, in addition to Hungary.
